MW Racing headed east to Decatur, Texas, for the latest stop of the Outlaw Series at Eagles Canyon Raceway. The track layout and tough competition made for an exciting weekend of racing and valuable seat time for both drivers.
Mason put together a solid weekend, battling through the field. Despite a highly competitive class, he kept his focus and finished in the middle of the pack.
For Wyat, the weekend proved to be a bit more challenging. Mechanical and race-day issues kept him fighting from behind. Although the results didn't reflect the effort put in, Wyat never gave up and continued pushing to the finish while collecting important points and lessons for the races ahead.
One of the highlights of the weekend came Saturday night when the Mom's 170 race took center stage. Stepping out of the pits and into the driver's seat, the boys' mom took on the challenge and had an absolute blast competing. It was a fun experience for the entire family and a great reminder of what makes off-road racing such a special community.
MW Racing will take what they learned in Texas, make improvements, and come back stronger at the next Outlaw Series event.
